Roshni Homes Trust is a registered non-profit founded in 2002 by a group of compassionate individuals determined to give orphaned and vulnerable children more than shelter: a true home filled with love, dignity and opportunity.
On our 8-acre campus in Gujranwala we have built family-style houses where each child is cared for as our own, receiving quality education, healthcare and character development. Our goal is to raise confident, self-sufficient individuals who thrive in life and become positive forces in society.
Today, Roshni Homes stands as a model of hope and care, proof that every child deserves a safe home, a nurturing family and a future full of possibilities.

Origin story
How a salute started a family
My journey began at seventeen, when a change in my family’s fortunes forced me into the world of business. From a small poultry venture in 1986 to leading the Credence Group and founding GIFT University, I have seen how perseverance can change a life. Yet my most profound lesson did not come from a business deal. It came from a salute.
Years ago, an orphan seeking admission to GIFT University saluted me. He meant it as respect, but the gesture revealed a deep-seated sense of inferiority. He had been conditioned to feel like a “subject” of charity rather than a student with potential. It was then that I realised that while Pakistan had many orphanages, it lacked true homes.
In 2002, alongside a group of dedicated individuals, we established Roshni Homes to fill this gap. We did not want to build an institution. We wanted to create a family.
At Roshni, we focus on the child’s spirit. We replace the “salute” of low self-esteem with the confidence of belonging. Through a complete approach to education, physical fitness and emotional warmth, we make sure our children grow up with the dignity they deserve. We do not just provide for them. We empower them to stand tall as equals in society.
My vision is for the mission of Roshni Homes to expand, fuelled by the sincerity and empathy of younger generations. We will not measure our success by the size of our buildings, but by the strength of the people we develop.
Our goal is to raise individuals of upright moral character: men and women who are financially independent, emotionally resilient and a true pride for our nation. We are not just raising children. We are nurturing the future leaders of Pakistan.

No used clothes
Children choose their own new clothes in the market with their mothers.
Privacy protected
Children never appear in their own fundraising, and sponsor identities are never shared with them.
